Mantra at Sharks

Delivered for Southport Sharks, this four-level hotel combines 120 suites with the Aviary Rooftop Bar and The Nest, an open-air green space overlooking the club’s AFL playing fields and the Surfers Paradise skyline.

Located within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, the hotel is within walking distance of Griffith University and two major hospitals, with easy access to the Broadwater, Surfers Paradise and major theme parks.

The western façade features a distinctive art wall, while a striking porte cochere with canopy skylights creates a welcoming entry for guests.

Working alongside project superintendent RPS Group and architects GSA Group, our team completed construction in February 2018, two weeks ahead of schedule. Careful programme management and close communication supported the hotel’s March opening, ahead of the Commonwealth Games in April. With Southport Sharks retaining long-term ownership, durability and ease of maintenance were central to the project brief.
