About
Restoration of Marist College’s heritage-listed Tower, preserving its distinctive architectural features while creating modern learning and administration spaces. The refurbishment brings renewed purpose to an iconic college landmark.
The complete refurbishment of the Tower combined specialist heritage restoration with upgraded facilities for students and staff. Works included restoration of marble statues, terrazzo tiles and the intricate tracery within the windows and arches.
The refurbishment also delivered new bathrooms, outdoor community areas, classrooms, timber hallways, meeting rooms, an administration office and a commercial kitchen. A lift with a glass shaft improved access, while new audiovisual and security systems supported the building’s everyday use.
The restored Tower now welcomes visitors to the college and provides a vibrant learning hub for students and teachers.
