A three-floor office refurbishment delivering modern workspaces, improved accessibility and a new roof while QBuild remained operational. A carefully planned roofing solution maintained weather protection and uninterrupted occupancy throughout construction.
The refurbishment of QBuild’s South West Queensland Head Office involved demolition and fitout across three floors, along with installation of a new lift and roof at the 1,650m² facility.
The renewed workspace combines contemporary finishes, including feature timber walls and custom joinery, with the character of the existing building. The result is a modern, functional and accessible office environment.
Working within an occupied building required careful staging, proactive communication and close management of noise and access to minimise disruption to QBuild’s operations.
A key feature was construction of the new roof above the existing structure, allowing the building to remain occupied and fully weatherproof throughout the process.
